EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY

Anne Jordan, my intern at the time, convinced me to take Tom Wedell’s poster design class at the Summer Institute for Design Studies at RISD. Not only is Tom an incredible, devoted teacher, but (Anne’s now husband) Mitch Goldstein was our brilliant and attentive TA. I don’t think that I slept for the entire two weeks. The result was a whole new way of thinking about the process of design.
